Claudia lays on the floor on her back with one hand open, palm up. Her head is held by a pillow and a second pillow lays beside her. Audience is free to come and go, sit, stand, lay, observe or directly participate.

instructions:
1.find a seat for the performance. 
2.if you’d like, leave your seat, and lay your head on the pillow
next to Claudia.  
3.hold their hand. 
4.lay and hold for as long or as short a time as you’d like.
5.release your hand and Claudia will release theirs. 
6.return to your seat.
7.observe, change seats, take turns, come and go, stay for as long or as short a time that you’d like.

please, only touch Claudia’s holding hand. please, only one participant at a time. Claudia will not speak. the performance will run for 2 hours total.

GOOD GRIEF premiered as a part of Nextfest in June 2023. It was performed 5 times, each session with a duration time of 2 hours long. It will not be performed again.
